The AphidLiv Banker Plant is a support system designed specifically to maintain Aphidius colemani populations in greenhouse crops.
It contains wheatgrass intentionally infested with bird cherry-oat aphids (Rhopalosiphum padi), a non-pest aphid species that provides a continuous food source for the parasitoid wasp Aphidius colemani.
When A. colemani is released alongside this system, it creates a self-sustaining environment that supports reproduction and natural dispersal throughout the greenhouse.
Important: This product is intended for biocontrol use only and not suitable for wheatgrass growers or human/animal consumption.

This product contains wheatgrass infested with bird cherry-oat aphids (Rhopalosiphum padi), which serve as a supplemental food source for Aphidius colemani, a parasitoid wasp that targets green peach, cotton, and melon aphids.
Aphidius colemani is not included.
When Aphidius colemani is released alongside this system, it creates a self-sustaining environment, allowing the wasps to reproduce and continuously disperse throughout the greenhouse in search of aphid pests.
Getting these aphids was like a Christmas present for me, I was so happy to recieve them. My only wish is that the container they came in could close, I got 2 "male" lids taped together instead of two that could snap together. This means I can't close the container and some aphids died on the tape.
Hundreds of aphids and the grass are still alive a week later, so overall i am very satisfied.
