Storage and Handling

• Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures between 10-15°C and use immediately upon receipt for best results.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, wind, and extreme temperatures.
• If storage is unavoidable, ensure it is limited to 1-2 days under suitable humidity and temperature conditions.

Ideal Environment

To establish BarkeLiv mite effectively, it is crucial to maintain high humidity and warm temperatures. The optimal conditions for Neoseiulus barkeri are temperatures between 24-27°C and relative humidity levels above 60%.

The Life Cycle

Egg: Hatch in 1-2 days. Eggs are laid on the underside of leaf.

Larval Stage: Does not feed and last for about 1 day.

Proto & Deutonymph: Last 3-4 days each, during which the mites start feeding.

Adult Stage: Start reproducing within 1 day after emerging, with the entire life cycle completed in about 7-10 days under optimal conditions. Sex ratio is 1:2 male to female.
