Dalotia Coriaria (Atheta Coriaria, Rove Beetle)

What's AtheLiv?

Formerly known as Atheta coriaria (the rove beetle). It is mainly used to suppress fungus gnats and shoreflies but can also help with other soft-bodied soil pests (pupating stages of thrips, springtails, root mealybugs, root aphids, diapausing spider mites). They are highly active and can quickly disperse in all the pots near the release area.

What is in the breeding material?

The breeding material contains all life stages of Atheta (eggs, larvae, and adults). It also has soil rich in macros that ensures Atheta has enough food to promote breeding. We suggest adding this in the beginning of the season to establish the predator population.

  Orders are only shipped Monday through Wednesday. Any orders placed past 10am on Wednesday through Sunday will be shipped the following Monday.
